Amanda Dubois

Board Member 

Amanda DuBois is the founder of Civil Survival Project, an organization that provides legal services and teaches advocacy skills to formerly incarcerated individuals, for which she was awarded the Sally P. Savage Leadership in Philanthropy Award by the Washington State Bar Association and the Washington State Bar Foundation. 

In addition to founding DuBois Levias Law Group, one of Seattle's longest standing women-owned law firms, more than 30 years ago, Amanda is the author of the award-winning Camille Delaney mystery series. She published her third book, Unshackled, last year. The prequels to Unshackled are The Complication and Deliver Them from Evil.

Amanda is a longstanding member of the boards of Civil Survival, Freedom Education Project - Puget Sound, and Purpose Dignity Action in Seattle. She is the founder of the Full Circle Scholarship for law students impacted by the criminal justice system at her alma mater, Seattle University School of Law, and recently initiated the Unshackled Research Project at SU to determine evidence based solutions for reuniting formerly incarcerated moms with their children.
